WEEK 2 - 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS 2023

This week's card is full of textures and lovely layers.

It uses the Magical Meadow stamps in Misty Moonlight, Lost Lagoon and Blueberry Bushell. I randomly stamped all over a piece of Basic White card stock measuring 95 mm x 138 mm, then adhered it to a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock, measuring 100 mm x 143 mm.

The Timeworn Type embossing folder was used to emboss a piece of Basic White measuring 95 mm x 138 mm, which I cut in half on the diagonal.

Before attaching it to the stamped piece, I attached some scraps of the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon, and a couple of die-cut foliage pieces from the Magical Meadow dies to the back of the card stock. For dimension, I didn't put any glue on the foliage. I also stamped a greeting on an offcut of the embossed Basic White card stock, attached another piece of the ribbon behind it so only the silver part is visible, and tucked it under the diagonal edge.

Once attached to the stamped piece, I added a couple more sprigs of foliage that I'd die cut with Adhesive Sheet and card stock, so it's easy to stick onto the embossed layer.

The whole piece is then mounted onto a Basic White card base measuring 148 mm x 210 mm, folded in half.

I love this card because you could so easily change it up using different scraps of cardstock to cut out the foliage and offcuts of ribbon.

Happy days......get those cards ready!
