VARIATIONS ON A THEME
Last week's class on making backgrounds got me inspired to use up some of the products on the crafting table and I made these. They are similar to the original project because I was determined to use only what was immediately at hand!
For the stencil this one was made using reinkers and a blending brush in 3 different colours; Pear Pizzazz, Mint Macaron and Old Olive. The flower was from my stash and it's made by layering a lot of punched flowers using brown paper that have been scrunched and secured with a brad (that you can't see!!)
This stencilling used the matte embossing paste with the reinkers, applied with a palette knife. The colours are So Saffron, Mint Macaron and Balmy Blue. The posy was from my stash.
More matte embossing paste with Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive. The letters were cut out using the Playful Alphabet Dies RETIRING SOON & 20% OFF so be quick! I cut them out of Basic White and coloured them by swiping an Old Olive ink pad over the top. The leaf sprig was from my stash. The butterfly is also retiring...HURRY!
I love this stencil pattern made with blending brushes and reinkers in So Saffron, Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron. I left the letters plain, but I think I'm going to highlight them with some Shimmery Crystal Effects.

Happy Wednesday!
