SYMPATHY CARD USING MASKING TECHNIQUE
I like to keep things simple when I'm making sympathy cards. I stamped the flower image first on a piece of masking paper, then cut it out, leaving a 3 or 4mm border. Then I stamped the image onto a piece of Basic White cardstock, and covered the it with the mask.
Using the (retired) En Francais background stamp, I stamped over the entire piece of Basic White using Memento Black ink. Carefully remove the mask and colour the image with watercolour pencils.
Stamp a the greeting and use the Postage Stamp punch to cut out, then pop up with dimensionals.
Layer onto a Pool Party cardstock base.
