SHARING THE LOVE OF CARD MAKING

This month I held a card making day for charity. It was the first one for this particular group, and such a resounding success that I think we might make it a regular thing. We had so much fun.

On the Saturday morning of the event, the weather was atrocious with torrential rain. A perfect day for crafting indoors, guilt-free!

We set ourselves up in the back section of the lovely Gazzi Cafe at Tramsheds in Annandale and were kept well-fed & caffeinated by Angelo and his team. We broke for lunch and enjoyed chatting together as seasoned & first-time crafters got to know each other. By the end of the day, we'd finished & bagged around 130 cards! What a great achievement. And the quality of the work and variety in design was fantastic. We are sending them off to the Wayside Chapel this week for sale in their Op Shops in support of all the amazing work they do.

Thank you to everyone for attending, donating time, supplies, sharing crafting skills and lots of laughs.

Happy days!
